Gold Hantaran Again!

Last weekend I had the chance to do another gold hantaran, this time i used americolour gold and gold sheen to make the gold effect.  Kek ni akan dihantar nun ke Langkawi sana.....naik belon...dan alhamdullillah ianya selamat sampai di Langkawi.  Ordered by my very next neighbour sitting next to me in the office.....Zeela for her youngest brother's wedding.....Selamat Pengantin Baru and Congratulations to the bride and groom.

In fact, Zeela actually ordered 2 cakes....so that rombongan membawa pengantin tak lah terkulat-kulat tengok je kek tu..tp dpt jugak merasa ya....emm baiknya hati..so the other cake looks like this..

Thanks a lot to Zeela for the orders (.pst...got another order in July.....emmm tgh pikir ni nak wat apa, one thing good about Zeela, she leaves it to me to explore....ahhh lucky me!)

This is the latest wedding cake i did last weekend, actually my first 2 tier fondant wedding cake, sebelum ni biasa buat buttercream, but this time i got the opportunity to test my knowledge and skills in fondant decorating (buah cempedak di luar pagar....saya budak baru belajar, kalau salah tlg tunjukkan!).  Thanks to Lina who ordered this cake about a month ago (she also ordered the red&white theme hantaran cupcake before), thank you for having trust in me (also thks to Shashue for the tips ya!) Dari feedback yg diterima everything went well and the cake 'licin' as soon as it is cut.....alhamdullillah.

And these cupcakes were ordered by a colleagues in my office for his friend, he wanted all cc flavours that I have, but since it was a last minute order, sorry my friend i can only do up to 3 flavours ya!  and since that it is meant for a friend, i call it 'friendship cupcakes' ha..ha. senangkan!!

Yang ni pulak something new in the house...red velvet cupcake.....emmm i like it!  It goes well with the creamcheese...yummy.

Last Friday i berpeluang menajamkan lagi skill yang ada....attended a class on hantaran cake at ICCA PJ....saje nak tgk org lain buat camna...dan kalau dah namanya belajar xrugi mana pun.  Sometimes walaupun kita dah mahir atau tahu satu-satu perkara tu tapi masih ada lagi yang kita boleh belajar/perbaiki, maybe teknik nya lain, atau resipinya lain dan mcm2 lain lagi la..pendek kata pasti ada benda baru yg blh dipelajari....xbyak sikit.  Dan inilah hasilnya....

Again....it took me so long to update this blog..and again i hv problem wt my PC. Hope u all will enjoy the photos here k....The HM edible image cake was for my grand daughter Aqilah.  She turned 11 in Feb, celebrat together with her brother, Amirul whose birthday also in Feb.  Amirul's cake was Ben-10 edible image which i x sempat ambik gambarnya.

Yang ni pulak is cupcake yang diorder oleh my officemate, Hazlina untuk nikah anak buahnya di Kuala Selangor sana.  Jgn lupa order untuk hari langsungnya nanti ya....tks Ina.

This is a butter cake with buttercream for hantaran wedding, ordered by one of my neighbour.  Baru je kenal neighbour ni waktu dia order kek ni, Kak Nazira namanya, very nice lady.  She got to know me from my eldest daughter's friend's mom...panjang ceritanya.

Brown?? Gold??

Rasa2 warna apa sebenarnya kek ni ya? Masa officemate saya order kek ni dia kata "nak warna coklat tp ada gold sikit2" so this is the result.  Kek ni katanya untuk hantaran kahwin adik lelaki nya...Selamat Pengantin Baru dari saya...moga berkekalan hingga akhir hayat.

Kek yang ni pulak, ordered by Hazlina, another officemate.  Her daughter like pink colour....hope she likes it.  Happy birthday Hani...semoga panjang umur, murah rezki, dan rajin2 belajar tau!!.

Actually, there were two princesses edible image cakes, another was order by Kak Shikin, my senior in CPR, for her 2 yr old niece.

I've been busy with my brother's wedding lately...that explained why this blog was left idle.. In between, still received orders but not much for special occasion (coz byk yang order untuk makan2) so not many pictures available except for a few.  Back to my brother's wedding u can see his pictures below...just wanna share with u all, bukan apa the whole family was very excited coz it has been 14 yrs since the last wedding in the family... so happy viewing!!!

Actually, dekat setengah hari juga saya mengerjakan kek ni...sbbnya time tu nak buat time tu baru nak pikir nak buat macamana...barulah sibuk masa tu nak buat bunganya...(orang lain sibuk  isi telur untuk bunga telur..saya sibuk dgn bunga saya).  Kalau abah dan abang saya (infact the whole family!) dah naik rimas tengok saya menyiapkan bunga2 ni...diaorang penat tgk saya buat kata mereka...ha tu belum buat lagi..org yg membuat lagi penat....tp kalau dah biasa sekejap je..saya ni jarang buat sbb tu terkial2 skit.  tp syukurlah sampai juga hajat untuk buat kek bagi perkahwinan adik saya..dan Alhamdulillah semuanya berjalan lancar.....tangan ni dah gatallah pulak nak buat kek lagi......emmmm

Opps hampir terlupa, yg ni plak supposed to be a sample for a very popular and established wedding planner but was not approved by my hubby coz simple sgt katanya.....so off it went to the family members.....suka la diarong ..kenduri kek la nampaknya...

Saya terima order ni dr seorang kakak di taman perumahan saya, Kak Yati untuk pertunangan anaknya...lupa lak saya tanya namanya! sorry yek..walaubagaimanapun tahniah saya ucapkan dan selamat bertunang....katanya tunangan anaknya org jauh sebab tu suruh saya buatkan cc fondant supaya senang dan selamat dibawa...memangpun!  Kak Yati ni rasanya memang suka bola sbb tu jugalah dia suruh saya buat cc tema bola (dia yg bersemangat dan berkobar2, lebih dr tuan punya badan yang nak bertunang), eloklah tu sekepala, cuma mak mentua dan bakal menantu x sama team je....jenuh juga berebut channel ni..he, he...xpelah apa2 pun ni lah dia hasil tempahannya tempoh hari...sebenarnya lama gak saya fikirkan nak buat camna tapi sebab kak Yati dah bagi mcm2 idea (siap no jersi lagi) so kuranglah sikit homework saya...
